Im using a Lenovo Y560p and after months of searching for files and doing try and error ive finally managed to get a near perfect system now. been using it for over 2 months now and its almost my daily OS. i got photoshop, android dev tools and all installed. i got all the files on my drive but i would want to share. i didnt make any of the files. they are all files i pulled from online. want to know how many ppl are interested in it before i upload cos i hardly get the time and my internet is not fast enough for uploads here are some screen shots and for the mean time get Niresh's Mac OS X ML 10.8 image from kickass torrents or get the link from his blog.

For audio go to System/Library/Extensions/ and delete the VoodooHDA kext if u have it there. if Not just install the file. Instructions in the various files.

I see in the screenshot that you used the OSX image by Niresh12495. Post a guide on your blog please, mentioning BIOS settings used/altered, links to download kexts/drivers for hardware. I have a Lenovo Y560 laptop.
ReplyDeleteOnce I managed to install iAtkos L2 on my laptop successfully but could not get video, network, wifi, bluetooth, power/battery kexts to work. Sound was working well.
i used Niresh's distro 10.8.2 so i'll recommend that if u want to follow my steps. everything works bluetooth not showing though but im sure it will come when i restart. was working during my previous session. i just made a fresh install. will put up a guide asap. and sorry for the late reply. wasnt checking my mails

ReplyDeleteuploading them. will send them asap. i'll advice you get the Niresh version of 10.8.2. just made a clean install and thats what im using now. everything works. want to go through the driver selection to get a guide.
