Now scroll way down. Yeah down. Way down. Dont worry you wont fall. Go down!
Now you should see a blank field
This is where you are supposed to enter the SMSC number. Now press refresh and take note of the code you see. If you happen to have the same problem as i did then i really hope this blog helps you out too.
OK now after taking note of the code(write it down or copy it unto an android notepad app or something), poweroff your phone and insert in another sim of the same network. Then try sending a text. If you are able to send a text then you are almost done. Now after successfully sending the text(this was to check if the problem was from your SIM), go to that hidden menu again and press refresh. take note of the code and compare with the code you got when you used your own SIM. If both are the same then you will have to contact your network's customer service for them to check your number but if the two codes are different just copy the SIM's code somewhere and restart your phone with your own SIM inside. Got to the menu again and enter the code you just copied for the working SIM and paste it into the SMSC field and press update.
VOILAAAA!!!! You should be able to text your babe or your boo before nukes start exploding from him/her.
